We want the place to be within a few hours’ drive from Atlanta.
Anyone have any suggestions for us? What we really want is an inexpensive cabin with a mountain view, and we would prefer that the cabin has amenities (like a hot tub, video games, etc).

Jacque_O on one breath you say your looking for something inexpensive as in a cabin in the Mountains. Then you go mention hot tubs, video games, amenities. You just increased the asking price two fold.

Hialeah ga is awesome . went there for a vacation and loved it .it is right off the Blue Ridge Mt trail with Mountains and waterfalls.

I also love Helen, GA. You can rent a small cabin, which would be really private and cozy. Plus, there’s alot to do around the town if you want to get out and do something:

A little further, in Asheville, NC is the Biltmore. I have never been, but my parents went and said it was amazing.

I am originally from the North Georgia mountains, and Blue Ridge, GA is about an hour and a half drive from the Atlanta area. There are several cabins for rent, mountain views all around (there are 4 mountain chains that run through the area), and there is a large lake as well, so come cabins have lake/mountain views. I am not sure what time of year you are planning to honeymoon, but no matter the time, it is a gorgeous area.
