My fiance and I will be graduating from college this May and will be getting married in November. We are scrambling to find jobs, apts, and planning a wedding etc… Even though money is tight, we would like a honeymoon of some sort, although probably a short one. I need honeymoon location ideas and details about activities in the area. Would love to go to the gulf coast but I think accomodations are more expensive at this time of year. So we will settle for a more local area if we can get some good ideas.

Hot Springs! I think it is incredibly romantic!
Find yourself a little bed and breakfast, (there is a great on right on Lake Hamilton) and enjoy a nice spa retreat at the local hotel. It doesn’t have to be expensive to be wonderful!
If you want to go to the gulf coast, pick a location/date and try priceline! I have gotten some incredible deals there! The more flexible you are, the better!
Best of luck!
Eureka Springs is nice you can rent a honeymoon cabin that over looks Beaver Lake. Northwest Arkansas is really pretty and the best place to live and work.
Arkansas is beautiful There is Bella Vista, Branson, Fayetteville. On the Kansas/Missouri side you could have a wonderful weekend on the Plaza in Kansas City, Mo. Visit Weston, Mo, and go antiquing. Kansas CIty has alot of offer. Get online and do some research.
Check out your local state parks-some have lodges/resorts or cabins at great prices!
I agree with Eureka Springs, AR. It is beautiful and inexpensive. I got married there and would do it again in a heartbeat. There are so many hotels, etc.
Also, if you want to spend a little money – Big Cedar Lodge in Branson, MO is AWESOME!!!! It is a Bass Pro resort and it is just beautiful!!!!!
depends on what you want to do there (besides the things honeymooners do). Hot Springs is beautiful and now have a casino there. eureka Springs.. Branson MO is awesome.. they have a themepark that has a theater there that plays all kinds of music.. they have country music like crazy and the motels are pretty cheap. It really depends on what you want to do or what you like.. Feel free to write me and I will try to help you with specific things in this area
In Arkansas there is Crater of diamonds national park, I saw on the travel channel, sounds like a fun place to visit.
basically you dig for Diamonds and keep whatever you find.
