We have a spring wedding and would like to travel any time in March or April. We are departing from Roanoke, VA. Both of us in mid-20s. The number of nights does not really matter, anywhere from 2-6. The budget for our trip is about 2k. We don’t want to spend more than about 12 hours driving time if we choose to drive. We enjoy outdoors: fishing (any water activity), relaxing, art, we do drink, amusement parks, mountains, historic things, really pretty much everything, as long as we have fun doing it. (At least 1-2 days, depending on vacation length, HAVE TO be spent fishing) We have already been to: Williamsburg, OBX, Va beach, Myrtle beach. I am really looking for some good advice of where there will be good fishing during that time of year (yes, it’s that important). Anyone know of any good fishing in eastern US during March/April?? Where? What kind? Thanks for the help!
